What you can report here
Anything in ViralVote you think is against the law: a player's name, a league's name, a question, a picture, or anything else you can see in the game. That includes content you think infringes your copyright or trademark.
For a name that's rude or breaks our Community Standards but isn't illegal, the quickest way is to report the player from their name in the app.
How to send a report
Email support@viralvoteapp.com with the subject Illegal content report. You can write in English or Hebrew.
What to include
- What it is and where to find it: the player name or league name, the question or picture, which screen it was on, and roughly when you saw it. A screenshot helps a lot.
- Why you think it's illegal, and which law, if you know.
- Your name and email address, so we can write back. You don't have to give your name if you're reporting child sexual abuse material.
- This sentence: "I believe the information in this report is accurate and complete."
Reporting a copyright or trademark problem? Also tell us what your work or mark is, and that you own it or are allowed to act for the owner.
What happens next
- We email you to say we got it, if you gave us an email address.
- A person looks at it. We use automatic filters to check names before they're saved, but a person decides on every report sent here. Reports about a child's safety go first.
- We decide and tell you what we did and why, and how you can challenge it.
- If we act against a player's name or a league, we tell that player what we did and why, unless the law stops us.
- If something suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, we tell the police or the right authority.
We keep reports and what we did about them for 2 years after we close them. See our Privacy Policy.
How to appeal
Disagree with what we decided, whether you sent the report or it was about you? Reply to our email, or email support@viralvoteapp.com with the subject "Appeal", within 6 months, and tell us why. A person will look at the decision again and reply with the outcome. If we got it wrong, we'll undo it.
You can also go to court, or, if you live in the European Union, complain to the authority in your country that oversees online services (the Digital Services Coordinator).
Please don't misuse this page
If someone keeps sending reports that are clearly unfounded, we may stop handling their reports for a while. We'll tell them first.
